Matthew was asked to play in another All Star Game Challenge against the Chilliwack league. Jake was very disappointed to not have been chosen but he did get to stay to watch his level play their game right after Matthew's game was done.
The game was a bit of a blowout to say the least. I think the score was something like 23-1 for Fraser Valley - Matthew's league. The boys playing on our team were mostly all from Gr 3 and 2 while the other team was made up of Gr 1 and 2 boys so it's no wonder our team played so well.
I think the highlight of the game was the fact that he could play with so many of his friends from school. Justus, Zeb, Kaleb, Luke, Tyson and Matthew all on the same team. They are rivals in their regular league and really enjoyed playing together this game.

Another fun thing about this game was that they could play it on the ice that the Chilliwack Chiefs play on! The stands were very grand!
Matthew did the opening face off. If you looked at the size of the other player you would think Matthew is in the wrong league!
