Jake's hockey team was short a few players so they called in some short players. Matthew was one of them! He was so excited to be able to play in the 'C' division but mostly was excited to be able to play with Jake. Jake was excited about that too!
Matthew couldn't wear his regular jersey as that was the wrong colour and the Ducks jersey had the wrong name so Dave made a name tag for him yet too.
Jake and Matthew got to play on the same line a few times too. It was really fun to watch them play together.
This is likely the only time they will ever play together on the same team. They are too many years apart to ever play for the same team so this was a special game.
