Volleyball

Here we go.  School has just begun and we are right into sports again.  The boys have started hockey.  Jake did not make the soccer team, he was sad but he's over it. Hockey's good!  Nicole did make the volleyball team though.  She's got a ways to go in terms of skill but she's showing some pretty good potential!  It's going to be fun watching this team develop...we'll see how far they go!

This was their first game.  They were signed up for a tournament at Langley Christian.  Clearly they were the underdogs after their first blowout of a game but they were having fun and improving yet too!

Nicole got right into it.  She's agile and was mostly right where she needed to be.  She's a bit timid and quiet....doesn't like to yell for the ball when it's coming her way but she'll get there. 

When her serves connect it's powerful.

A new team to get to know!

It sure is fun to watch our Nicolie in her element!
