Homegroup Pumpkin Fest

We have the coolest Homegroup!  Well, at least that's what we think anyway.  Sprout and Hilary thought it would be fun to host a Pumpkin Fest and we all agreed.  It was a VERY rainy day/evening but that was not going to dampen our fun!  They have the perfect property to host a ton of kids and their parents.  A basketball court to have some fun games of roller hockey and basketball.  A large shop with a games room up above for pool, darts and ping pong.  A beautiful patio where they had set up a tarp and gas fire pit to keep us all warm and dry!  We roasted hot dogs and smokies, had some munchies and hung out while the kids played, and played and played.  The torrential downpour was not going to stop our fun.  We all had hockey games to deal with but we all managed to get there at some point in the evening!

We had pumpkin bowling too.  Everyone was to take their pumpkins from home to use.

But the highlight of the evening for the kids was the PUMPKIN SMASH!

All of the kids could smash their pumpkins on the concrete and jump and run through it all!  Oh what fun that was!

Thanks Sprout and Hilary for giving us a place to get rid of our mushy old jack-o-lanterns!

But most of all thank you for hosting a fabulous Pumpkin Fest!

Adam showed Matthew and Zebedee the pellet gun!  They were very interested in this kind of fun!
