Sports Day has arrived!
....and it's not raining! Last year was a very, very wet day so waking up to sun this morning was really, really nice!
The whole school at the opening assembly at the beginning of the day. 200+ students but it looks like a small group up there in the grand stands.

The first event of the day is the long distance run. 1200m for grade 6 and 7.
Believe it or not this is one of the best events for Matthew. He looks forward to this event!
Not Nicole's favourite event but she does just fine, better and better each year.
This is a much more fun event for Nicole!
There aren't many events that Matthew doesn't like. He does very well on Sports Day.
He might be small but he's not a competitor to take lightly.
High Jump is a highlight in the day for Nicole.
She's a powerhouse when it comes to the short run! Don't get in her way!
Matthew's not as much of a powerhouse but he's speedy!
Yes, I am in charge of the Command Center. Linda and I run the show on Sports Day! It's a big job but really a lot of fun too!
