Olympic Athlete Day - February 17, 2010

Yes, the day after our Olympic experience we had to be organized to get to school in costume. We had Olympic Athlete Day and we were not organized. We didn't even know what the kids were going to be dressed up in. We figured it out and this is what we came up with.
Nicole: Figure skater I don't know why we couldn't think of this one last night but it's the perfect one for her. Put on a pretty ballerina dress, hair in a bun with sprinkles to boot and throw a gold medal around her neck because she is the prettiest champion we know!

Matthew: Soccer Player Who said anything about having to dress up as a winter athlete. Beside when you are running out of ideas at 8:30 AM you've gotta just go with what you've got on hand. We found a flag on the computer, printed it off - thank goodness for technology. Jake thought Matthew should be a biathlon guy but he didn't want to do it so soccer player he is. He was excited to be wearing the Canada Flag...cutest flag bearer around!

Jake: Team Canada Goalie! Jake new exactly what he wanted to be...a goalie. He called a friend who he knew had a goalie mask, put on all the pads the boys have and he was ready to stop anything that came his way! Gotta be cool in Grade 4 and cool he is!
