Nicole's class had a field trip to the Vancouver Aquarium. It was a non-Kindergarten day so I could go along. We had super beautiful weather. The dolphins are always a huge hit of the day but we would have to be gone already by the time the dolphin show was scheduled. We were lucky to see them swimming around though.
There was a hands on session we happened upon and the kids were allowed to touch starfish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. It was interesting.
We headed inside to find the jelly fish and the shark tank. We found both and had fun exploring all the different tanks.
We also managed to see the Beluga whale show. It was pretty crowded when we got there but we managed to find front row seats. We soon learned that we were in the splash zone. And splash we did get! We were SOAKING wet by the end of the show but it was thrilling!
Here's the entire class at the end of the day just before we had to head back to Langley.
