The upstairs is done but the basement tile needs to be done yet. Dave set to work on it one Saturday and scraped all the old lino from the floor. It was a noisy job and the smell from under the lino was pretty bad but it's gone and all ready for the tile to be laid. Thanks for the handy tool Bert. It came off as easy as can be with your heavy duty tool. Because the floor down there is really rather cold we will have heating installed under the tile as well.
About a week and a half later the tile was installed. Just before Christmas Day it was all done and looking really good. We need to wait until the end of January for the heating to be hooked up so the tile and grout? can be settled but oh it will be so nice to have it heated. Very happy with the end result.

The tile looks great! And in-floor heat! How awesome is that. A good spot to lay your wet snow clothes to dry! Enjoy!
