Slippie Socks - December 30, 2009

The tradition continues. Great-Grandma had been making socks for Matthew but now Grandma has started. At the rate we go through them and how often Matthew and Jake like to wear them we should keep both of them happy knitting away their cold winters. Nicole really wanted a pair too but she really doesn't wear them much, sorry mom. Grandma made her some. Jake was admiring them, trying to figure out how the pattern came to be as she knit away. He tried on Grandma's pair and low and behold, they fit him. I shrunk them in the laundry, now they fit Matthew and Grandma began knitting again. She got another pair done just in time and Jake sure enjoys them! Thank you so very much Grandma! We love them!
