Another Before and After....

I know, this rhodo is beautiful....when it's flowering.  But when the flowers die it's not so pretty.  The dead flowers stay on the plant for a long time and then it's ugly!  It is also super big and I don't think the garden looks balance with it so it needs to go!  We put it on Craig's List for $50 you dig and take away.  We thought we were going to have to dump it but then we had a hit and someone wanted to take it.  So...take it they did.  

And now it's gone....

We are going to make it smaller. Where the little green grass on the right side of the picture is, that's where the edge of the garden will be.  We will fill the rest with grass....eventually. We took some plants from the garden in the back that is going to be demolished and planted them in the front.  We also scored 2 Japanese Maple trees from Rob & Marnie who are redoing their gardens.
