Summer Days
August 2, 2013

We had LOTS of lazy summer days.  It's always a plan of mine to try to have as many lazy days in the summer as we can.  It's fun to go out and do things but staying home can be so much fun.  For real!

I had Rob & Marnie's kids on most Fridays this summer. Jordyn, Brooklyn and Dylan would come...early in the morning...and try to be quiet until the lazy Spoor kids would wake up.  This is usually how they would spend the first little bit of time here.  All scrunched up on the couch watching a little bit of TV,playing on ipods and as each of my kids would slowly wake up they would add themselves to the couch in this lazy fashion.

But, when they woke up, had some brunch...cause no one's getting breakfast around here...and got dressed, the fun would begin.

Jordyn has an amazing imagination and she gets our kids doing all kinds of crazy, fun things!
Today was no exception....

Carnival Day!

Jordyn, Jake and Nicole found all kinds of little toys, stuffies and begged me for candy and setup  the foyer downstairs as a reward/prize booth.
Then they had Matthew, Brooklyn and Dylan play the games to get the prizes.

Kept them busy for hours!  For which I was thankful.
