Pub Night
August 23, 2013

After our last fun night of kayaking and hanging out afterwards for an appie and drink as a homegroup, Dave and I decided it would be fun to host a pub night.  So we did.  We started with appies: bbq salmon with cream cheese and crackers, tomato/basil and bocconccini skewers, homemade salsa and chips and peanuts in the shell. Next was a choice of either spinach salad with roasted pecans or ceasar salad. Dinner consisted of deep fried mini burgers/sliders and potato skins. We finished off the evening with some more appies:  deep fried zucchini sticks, peanut satay chicken kabobs and chicken tenders.  It sounds like a lot of food, and indeed we were full, but it was a long evening spent out on the deck!
Hilary and I took care of all the food, because we both love to cook fun and interesting food, and the rest supplied something fun to drink.
Linda took the fixin's for a very yummy shot.
Looks pretty yumm....and it certainly was!
The weather was gorgeous and we could sit out on the deck.

Coolest homegroup ever!!!

K, so first of all, I need you to email me the recipe of that drink.
Secondly, you and your friend look way to happy compared to the other three on that picture where you are all cheersing each other. And third, you can come and do that for me and my friends on my patio. I will serve you that yummy drink.
