First Day of School - September 7, 2010
Here we go again. Another year of school at Credo Christian Elementary School.
Jake's in grade 5 and has the new principal, Mr. Snijder as well as Mrs. VanSpronsen. He wasn't too sure what to call Mrs. VanSpronsen. Definitely not Auntie Linda so maybe she will just be Mrs. V. as that's what all the other kids call her. He's excited to be in Gr 5. Jake may not totally say it but he really does like school. He loves to learn and is finally telling us a lot about what he does and learns at school. It's crazy the amount of information that child remembers but it's fun to see how much he likes to learn.

Nicole's in Grade 3 and has Mr. Boersema. He's one of the new teachers at our school this year. He's not really new as a few years ago he taught Gr 3 at Credo. Nicole is also excited about school although I'm not all the way sure what's the most exciting......learning or being able to socialize all day every day! I'm leaning towards the later as she just loves to be with her friends. Learning is a by-product of school for her. She does just fine, doesn't struggle with learning but thrives on the socializing she can do.

Matthew's in Grade 2 with Mrs. VanderBoom. He's feeling really old this year. Way older than the grade 1ers! He too likes school. I never hear him complain about school. That's good because the learning part isn't always the easiest for him but he tries real hard and that's what counts. He's all about recess still! There's a lot of hard playing to be done! He's coming home with little tid bits of info too and is really proud to tell us all what he has learned at school.
