All the kids were off at friends houses, at birthday parties or somewhere so Dave and I took the opportunity we had to rip out the flooring. We were not sad to see the laminate gone but Matthew was really ripped off that we did it without him! It didn't take us long to have it out. Matthew got back just in time to help Dave get it all into the van ready to be taken to the dump the next day.
Wes stopped by the next day to see what materials were all needed to be ordered before the building could begin in September. We were heading out for our last camping trip the next day so it needed to be done now already. While there he showed Dave how to knock the fireplace bricks out. We were once again not sad to see the old material go. No turning back though, it's a bit of a mess!
